What We Do
Ireland is lucky to have a diaspora who foster goodwill, make a meaningful contribution to Jersey. This can be economically and culturally raising awareness of Ireland with a positive image in our adopted home.
Being a member of the Jersey Irish Society is like having family away from home and meeting like-minded people sharing our culture.
We host many events throughout the year. These include our flagship St Patrick’s Annual Ball, quizzes, rugby lunches, Bloomsday celebrations, musical events and many more.
We take care of our senior members in our Tir Na N’Og initiative where we will transport less mobile members to events specially organised for them.
This has been made possible thanks to the generous support of funding under the Irish Governments Emigrant Support program.
