Join the Jersey Irish Society
The aim of The Jersey Irish Society is to establish social and friendly contact amongst the Irish community and the community in which we live; preserve and promote all aspects of Irish history, folklore, literature, sport and music, and to help other benevolent or charitable organisations. The Society, today as in the past, maintains a non-partisan position in politics and religion.
Membership
By way of helping the Society to achieve these aims, please complete the application form. Membership is open to people who are Irish by birth, descent, or marriage, and to anyone with a keen interest in all things Irish. Paid up members of the Society will benefit from a reduced rate to certain events during the year organised and nominated by the Society’s Executive Committee. To ensure membership standards are maintained new members are usually sponsored by existing members. If you do not know an existing member to sponsor you then a decision as to your membership will be determined by the Executive Committee.
Subscriptions are paid annually by Standing Order on 1st June each year.
